Refund Policy

Effective Date: April 1, 2026

We want you to love using Notetime. If the app isn't the right fit for your workflow, we want to make moving on as frictionless as possible.

Because Notetime is available across different platforms, the refund process depends entirely on where you originally purchased your subscription. Please find your platform below for exact instructions.


1. Purchases made on the Web (notetime.app)

If you purchased your Pro subscription directly through our website (via Stripe), your payment is managed directly by us.

Our Guarantee: We offer a 14-day no-questions-asked money-back guarantee for all initial web purchases.

How to request a refund: Please send an email to hi@notetimeapp.com from the email address associated with your Notetime account. Include your original purchase receipt if possible. We will process your refund within 2-3 business days.

Note: Refunds for renewals on existing subscriptions are handled on a case-by-case basis. You can cancel your web subscription at any time from your account settings to prevent future charges.


2. Purchases made on the iOS App (Apple App Store)

If you purchased Notetime Pro on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's native In-App Purchase system, your payment is managed entirely by Apple.

Apple's strict privacy and security policies mean that developers do not have the ability to process, approve, or issue refunds for App Store purchases. We physically do not have access to your credit card or transaction history.

How to request a refund from Apple:

  1. Go to Apple's official refund portal: reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with the Apple ID you used to purchase Notetime Pro.
  3. Under "What can we help you with?", select "Request a refund."
  4. Choose the reason for your request and select "Next."
  5. Find Notetime in your list of purchases, select it, and click "Submit."

Apple typically processes these requests within 24 to 48 hours.


3. What happens after a refund?

Whether your refund is processed by us (Web) or by Apple (iOS), our backend system will automatically detect the refund. Your account will seamlessly revert to the Free tier at that time.

Any local notes you created will remain safe on your device, but premium features (like Cloud Sync, advanced themes, or relative timestamps) will be locked until you subscribe again.
